Korean actor JKS became a highly passionate DJ at Summer Sonic 2012. At the Summer Sonic 2012 music festival on Aug 18 to 19 held at Osaka & Tokyo, JKS formed Team H to participate at this event, put on great performance together with world renowned artistes.

JKS with his music partner Big Brother's Team H showed their great abilities. Amongst world artistes like Green Day, Rihanna, Jamiroquai, Sigur ros, Kessha, Hoobastank etc, they also shone & totally controlled the stage of Summer Sonic 2012.

In the two days event, JKS performed passionately the songs from Team H album 'We Are', 'Can't Stop', Shake It, Gotta Getcha fast tempo songs as well as 5 DJ music, almost 40 minutes spent with audience dancing & partying happily.

On Aug 19 on Rainbow Stage in Tokyo, JKS saw the crowdiness & pushing in the audience. Using his smart judgment, he stopped his performance immediately & avoided any dangerous incidents. Following that, he took the festival to extreme high with his great & professional DJ skills & passionate stage performance.

At the live interview before the performance, with fluent English he spoke about participating at Summer Sonic, Team H music & their plans for their future activities, they received great applaud.

At the 2012 UMF Korea & Summer Sonic 2012 which were participated by world artistes, JKS showcased his music talents, a lot of fans saw him differently and look forward to his future endeavours.

Correctly speaking, was beaten by JKS. really wish he will continue this path for music. I totally don't know him. Only thought he only loves to have fun. Now i begin to take interest (in him). Also a DJ. Felt he has the techniques to raise the bar for Asia!

Today, beyond expectations and a very happy (performance) is Team H. JKS was DJ-ing and also performing his music live at the same time, such feeling, such a scene was too dazzling!

It's not coz i like JKS, but watched his performance together with the other performer; however was mesmerized by his performance and great look. in the 10 year history of summer sonic, this is the first time where the performance was so hot, so heated up that it has to pause for a while during the performance.

Jang Geun Suk’s Japanese collaboration album, “Lounge H”, hits #1 in pre-orders

Jang Geun Suk was previously revealed to be pulling out all the cards for the promotion of his upcoming collaboration album with Big Brother, “Lounge H the First Impression“.

It seems his efforts in renting out a promotional cafe seemed to hit it off, as the album has ranked #1 in pre-orders even before it’s hit the shelves! The mini-album features a total of 10 tracks that Jang Geun Suk personally picked out concepts for from the music video to the outfits.

The DVD also contains music videos and behind-the-scenes footage that fans won’t want to miss. Japan’s biggest video site, ‘Niconico Live‘, has been airing the title track music video as well as “Gotta Getcha“, footage of his ’2011 Asia Tour Last in Seoul Team H‘ stages, and exclusive interviews.

Jang Geun Suk is certainly on a roll, as this is all combined with his simultaneous efforts for his KBS drama, ‘Love Rain‘.

Jang Keun Suk to Operate Exclusive Cafe for Album Promotion

Jang Keun Suk is holding nothing back while preparing for his upcoming album release.

According to marketing company 3HW, Jang will be promoting his new Japanese album, Lounge H The First Impression through television, newspaper and traffic commercials as well as club promotion events.

In addition, from March 19 through the 25, Tower Records in Tokyo’s Shibuya area will host a special, exclusive café for his album. The café will play tracks from his upcoming album, his music videos and, for a truly special treat, the PA system will be announcing messages voiced by Jang himself.

After releasing a teaser in February, Jang Geun Suk has followed up by recently revealing the MV for Team H‘s “Can’t Stop”.

Team H (comprised of Jang Geun Suk and DJ Big Brother) previously released a Chinese album back in October 2011 entitled ‘The Lounge H‘. Now Team H has got their sights set on Japan with their new album ‘Lounge H – The First Impression’.

In the MV for the title track, “Can’t Stop”, Jang Geun Suk and DJ Big Brother are seen facing off at a train station decked out with their initials. They’re ready to wreck some havoc on the night, and we can only imagine what the two will do once they get their party on.

[EEL's Story]The Truth of LOUNGE H *Sudden New Year's Party*

OK, this translation is not an interview or something, I read this and that from a Chinese eel who lives in Japan, she always posts some brief translation from Japanese media (like newspaper, magazine) when there is some thing about Sukkie. This one I collected some of her posts about Team H Zepp Show in Tokyo. It’s pretty interesting. Remember each paragraph is like a single post. They are not from the same entry.

The Team H show’s name is Sudden New Year’s Party. Why it was called as that, let’s hear what Geunjang said at the beginning of the show (actually) Geunjang said this after they song the first song Korean version Run Away
Geunjang said this show actually wasn’t planned, but during he was promoting YMP in January he thought he wanted to do something, then after only 3 weeks preparation for this Team H show, that’s why it was called “sudden”. In the show everytime he asked BB a question (in Japanese), BB always answered “super”! Only one time when was asked what he wanted to eat, BB said: Sushi! Everybody laughed so hard. (actually I want to added a bit more on this, if you haven’t watched the Team H yet, he said when he first had this thought about to do a free open concert for Team H music, people were shaking their heads, even the Japanese staff, they don’t think it would work, but he still wanted to take challenge even they all said “no” to him, what a adventurer, that’s one of his most differences he has from other Korean artists in show business, he never get enough, he always wants to take challenge, and also he is capable for doing that without have to follow other people’s order because he is the boss even he is only 24 years old.)

Those blue eels that couldn’t go to the site to see the show, they called sick to work in the morning; they didn’t cook the dinner but ordered take out; or they made curry and when 5:30pm was coming, they were hands off of anything, knee down in front of TV wait to get crazy with Geunjang (lol. Love this one )

Mama Jang was very supportive, she wore an Afro (explosion style) wig for the 1st day show, the second day he wore a T-shirt has Sukkie doll print on it to the site. The eels on site saw her in such good mood, all were so happy and would like to be the daughter in law for her. (shall I most wanted mother in law? lol) The most funny is those comments for livecast on internet: At the beginning: it was like, Geunjang is so cool, handsome, what a killer, come to me, dah, dah, dah. then later became to drool on his wardrobe and his sweat, at the end even comments like agreed to be concubines for Sukkie, someone said I’m Monday wife, then Tuesday wife, Wednesday wife came out too. (omg, I bet this was after some soju when they were watching the show, lol.)

Japanese media report (brief): Geunjang’s Zeppo Concert internet livecast viewer was close to 230,000 ppl. (227034), comments 109509, this made record on history for livecast on Nico Nico Live. Nico Nico Live is biggest on line motion image broadcaster.

Another Japanese media report (brief): Team H show: A Night Club Party after Geunjang woke up from his hibernation. The Team H on 20th and 21st had turned Zepp Tokyo to a big night club. Geunjang said: after Tokyo Dome Show, even he did YMP promotion events, but actually he was in hibernation. Because of this show, he really woke up and never rest, next week he will go to Hokkaido to shoot LR, this show was also for his 20th anniversary and Team H album debut in Japan.

Blue eels FA for Team H show -A: The leather jacket and pants he wore, was really cool and beautiful, made you think of Sexy Back! The white-shirt, you can see his beautiful waist line (my favorite with collar bones J ). His figure is much more beautiful than 10 years ago (10 years ago, 14? He was still a boy, oh my, this blue eel followed him from that time? Senior pervy eel?) Now he has matured man charisma. In the middle of the show, he unbuttoned his shirt and exposed his chest, he danced very wild. BB was also very high, he even pulled off the power plug, so Geunjang had to do an urgent talk show. Next week he will go to Hokkaido to shoot LR.

Blue eels FA for Team H show –B: Eels talked to Geunjang’s parents, they yelled: Thank for giving birth to such a wonderful son. Mama Jang was wearing wig with other Tree J staff to support Geunjang. Geunjang did talk show to emergency react to BB. BB run away to change pants (too much champagne ?) During Dancing, they were spraying the Dom Perignon and water, they did hot dance with female dancers. Even not over 2 hours, the excitement were over Tokyo Dome Show. (I remember he called his parents twice during the show and said: mother and father I love you. I think he was really emotional when he was so high in the show and then he thought about he made this with his parents’ support, that was really touching to me.
This kind of expression you do not see them normally from other Korean artists in the show business.)

Jang Geun Seuk Holds Historic Live Online Concert in Japan

On February 20 and 21, Jang Geun Suk held his “We Are Team H” concert in Japan. Only 4,000 free tickets were given out for the concert, so Jang Geun Suk offered a new service to the rest of his Japanese fans—free online broadcasting.

The result was staggering as it brought in more than 220,000 viewers and nearly 110,000 comments in just 85 minutes. The online viewership was so high that Jang Geun Suk’s agency went as far to describe it as, “Through this record, he basically rewrote concert broadcasting history.”

Even commoners get seats at a free 'Prince of Asia' concert in Tokyo

Jang Geun-seok kept a year-long promise and performed at a free concert on Tuesday for 4,000 lucky fans at the Zepp in Tokyo.
More than 50,000 fans registered for a chance to win one of the 4,000 available seats at the event, which featured Big Brother, a singer and music producer, alongside Jang, who calls himself the "Prince of Asia".

The concert was streamed live online for those who were unable to attend, and Jang's agency announced that "We are Team H", as the event was called, was viewed by more than 227,034 fans online. Some 109,508 comments were left by fans after the 85-minute long concert.

During the show, Jang and Big Brother performed songs from their upcoming EP "Lounge H: The First Impression" to be released on March 21.

"I promised my fans last year that I would hold a free performance this year. It was great to be able to fulfill that pledge and to share the moment with my fans, both those who were present and those who were with us through live streaming", Jang said.

Actress Jang Keun Suk recently proved that he is very popular in Japan.

On February 22, Jang’s agency, Tree J. Company, said that Jang played his free live concert, ‘We are Team H,’ which was held on February 20 and 21 in Tokyo, Japan, to over 220,000 people online.

Jang played his live concert on one of the biggest video sites in Japan for people who couldn’t come to the venue to see his concert.

The concert was broadcasted live starting at 6:30 p.m. for about 85 minutes and 227,034 people in total watched it. Then people left 109,508 comments on the website.
