[Fan Account] Arena Tour in Japan (Oct. 25~26, 2011)

Hello pretty EEL's
by:tenshi_akuma

I’m starting to write this fan account during my flight to Canada. Honestly, I’ve been very busy these days, completing my work, going to Sukkie’s arena tour twice and leaving for Canada. I can’t blame anyone except me for it. Because it’s me who arranged this crazy schedule. But thanks to my craziness to make a balance between public and private, I spent the happiest 6 hours in my life before leaving Japan for Canada.

I know, I know I’m one of the luckiest eels here to have seen Sukkie in person several times, but this was my first time to go to his own show, CRI SHOW! I regarded it as a quite different show from other events such as “Marry me, Mary” Fan Meeting. Because CRI SHOW is planned only for eels, so I expected that we must have spent invaluable moments only between Sukkie and his loyal eels. So I really really wanted to go there at least once. But as all you know, it’s quite difficult to get his ticket in Japan, so I was praying to get the chance every day. And I did it! I got his tickets for 2 days. Even though they were not both good seats, I was very happy to see him twice in succession.

OK, let’s go back to the subject. I went to Saitama Super Arena on Oct. 25 and 26 (the final day of his arena tour).

This is Saitama Super Arena.

First of all, I’m gonna tell you about the first day, Oct. 25. The seat I got was sold as the limited sight. I thought it would be OK if I could get the ticket more easily. Eventually my seat was placed at the very top of the venue (4th floor) and alongside of the stage, so that I couldn’t see the front stage at all… I watched most of the show through a small screen located near my seat. I could just look down the front stage directly. But fortunately, during the show he didn’t perform a lot on the front stage. The capacity of the venue was more than 15,000, so that to entertain the audience as much as he could, there were big runways. See the pic below.

It looked like a race track. So Sukkie was running there to approach us more. But my seat was too far from the track, so when he ran below my seat, I was about to fall down to lean forward him… Very scared… >.<

To tell the truth, I failed to make sense of the whole show on the first day. Because he used a big screen hanging on the front stage to create the arena tour for dramatic impact, but I couldn't see it well even through the screen… So the first day went by just enjoying his songs and talks, not his special production for this arena tour fully… So I just share here about my first day only about his special talks on that day.

The day before Oct. 25, he attended the charity baseball game held at Tokyo Dome and sang Korean national anthem. Before that, he went to see a famous doctor because he had some troubles in his throat. So he got an injection in the throat! Poor Sukkie…(T_T) After that, he said the pain disappeared at once as hard as he could believe. Thanks to his effort, he succeeded to sing all songs during the show with a dreamy voice.

My first day of the arena tour was like a rehearsal for my first his CRI SHOW. I learned the procedures of his arena tour including knowing the order of songs he sang and practicing shuffle dance live. Before the show, I practiced a lot to dance shuffle, but my space was so small that when I danced shuffle, I hit my knee against my juice bottle and it was fallen down… Anyway, I was so excited to join his own show for the first time.

OK, let's talk about my second day, the final day of his arena tour. It was unbelievably super-duper-duper!!!!!

On that day, I was on the 2nd floor but the last line… So I couldn't see him clearly without opera glasses. But the sight was much better than yesterday. Especially I could see the whole venue and the screen hanging on the stage, so it was very helpful for me to understand the whole show.

From now I'm gonna show you the details about his arena tour, CRI SHOW in Japan!!!!

This arena tour is totally different from other CRI SHOWs. It was a marvelous entertainment show produced by versatile Jang Keun Suk. He can act, dance, sing, talk, play DJ and produce a great show by himself. So even if I weren't his eel, I could say it was super-duper. But as I'm his eel, I can enjoy it from the bottom of my heart fully and I can say it was super-duper-duper!!! LOL.

The scene of the arena tour was a country for eels. And Sukkie was the prince of the country, but he felt cramped because those who around him requested him to act like an ideal prince. For example, the butler of the castle said to him, "Learn the tight-knit relationship between you and eels. When you feel happy, eels feel happy, too. When you feel sad, eels feel sad, too. When you act recklessly, eels feel as if they were riding a roller coaster… So don't behave yourself freely. Because you are our prince!" However, one day he ran away from the castle to seek freedom…

You see? This story was mixed with fiction and reality. During the show, he spilled his heart about his current situation, boom in a short period.

At the beginning, Sukkie appeared on the stage with Suni (one of his managers put on Suni costume) and rode the wagon to greet the audience, his eels. And he sang "Hello Hello." After singing the first song, he told us in Japanese that he was really looking forward to meeting Japanese eels and really appreciated to be here for him. We all understood what he meant to say in his greeting. Because of the earthquake occurred in March, all the concerts he planned this year were canceled and we had to wait for the day coming till this arena tour. It took about 7 months… The audience were listening to his talks with deep feeling. Then he said to us, "So please enjoy yourselves fully tonight!" and sang "Oh my darling" cheerfully.

After two songs, the story continued with the screen. During the show, there was no additional MC. Sukkie played the role by himself (This means he spoke every single word in Japanese! So amazing and touching!). But the show was planned to last about three hours, with no breaks. So he used the movie effectively to go on the show.
On the screen, our prince ran away from the castle as if he wanted to be a bird, the symbol of freedom. Then Sukkie appeared on the runways riding motorcycle.

He didn't wear tight-fit costume any more. And he made one phone call to his friend, Kurt, Big Brother and asked him to enjoy night in the club together. Then "Lounge H" started. Personally, I was really really looking forward to Lounge H. I love seeing Sukkie in the Lounge H part. Because he is manly, sexy and more than anything, I can feel real Sukkie the most. Sukkie and Kurt form Team H and write up and make arrangements about their songs. So I wanted to feel their world with all my senses. And I did it! I danced with them in a huge venue, but at that moment, the venue changed into a huge club. So beautiful illumination, cool production covered the venue. Sukkie was also playing DJ music, but most of the time he was dancing bewitchingly. I was totally knocked down…

He used a special tool putting on his hand to emit a beam of green light directly to the audience seats. He enjoyed this part mischievously.

The lounge H lasted about an hour. After Lounge H, Sukkie asked Kurt how he felt to play DJ here and Kurt answered in Japanese, "It was great! (Sugoi-ne!)" Then Sukkie asked him other questions, but Kurt replied repeatedly, "Sugoi-ne!, Sugoi-ne!" So funny to hear their dialogue. And personally, I smiled to hear Japanese pronunciation of his DJ name, Big Brother. It sounded "Big Brassier!" So cute and funny

After Lounge H, the screen showed gossip newspapers. They said, "JKS doesn't act like a prince! Drunken! Insane!" like that. On the screen, Sukkie sighs and says, "I wished sincerity would get across to everyone eventually, but should I choose my life others want me to live with?"

Then he appeared hanging on wires. On his back, big white wings were shown. He couldn't fly away because of wires, even though he had big wings. Then the introduction of "Let me cry" began.
