Actor Jang Keun Suk recently appealed to the public by appearing on several Japanese programs.

On June 28, according to Jang’s agency, Jang visited Japan on June 22 and appeared on several popular entertainment programs.

He appeared on music programs Fuji TV’s Hey! Hey! Hey! and NHK’s Music Japan to perform live. He also appeared on several popular talk shows including Asahi TV’s Tetsuko’s Room and proved that he is one of the hottest stars in Japan.

When Jang appeared on Tetsuko’s Room, it seemed like he doesn’t need an interpreter because he spoke in fluent Japanese during the entire show.

Tetsuko Kuroganagi, famous MC for the show, which has been airing for 37 years and only top stars can appear on, was impressed by Jang. After the show,

she gave Jang a piece of candy, which is well known as her trademark that she doesn’t give to even famous Japanese entertainers. She also took a picture intimately with Jang and surprised the entire crew.

On February 2, Jang Geun Suk appeared on Japan’s Fuji TV “Kuwazu Kirai” and talked about his ideal girl type and dating experience.

He revealed, “I prefer elegant women. I like mature women who can comfortably walk around in heels. I don’t care much about age.” When asked if he was dating anyone, he answered, “It’s been about three years (since I haven’t).”

The "Real" Jang Geun Suk Appears in Fuji TV Documentary.
Yomiuri News and Oricon are reporting that Jang Geun Suk's Japanese documentary, "Becoming the World's Prince! The Real 24 year old Jang Geun Suk" ("Sekai no Prince e! Jang Geun Suk ~ 24 sai no Sugao~") will air from 1:05am - 2:05am the night of Friday, January 13/early Friday, January 14 on Fuji TV in Japan (Kanto region only). The documentary contains footage shot last year between October and December.

Jang Geun Suk lets TV cameras into his home and he even gives a tour of his university campus! Footage for the documentary was shot by Japanese and Korean TV crews, so those in Korea may be seeing a similar documentary soon.

Six months after his Japanese debut, Jang Geun Suk held an event at Tokyo Dome following his arena tours in Tokyo, Osaka and Nagoya.

One of the more shocking parts of the documentary is how he continues to film even while hooked to an IV drip after finishing his event at Saitama Super Arena. Jang Geun Suk is quite popular in Japan and has even appeared in Lawson's (a convenience store) commercials and commercials promoting Korea's national drink makkoli.
