Regardless of genre, I listen to various kinds like classic, electronic and even country music.

“Modern Times”, “Rebel Without a Cause” and “Radio Star”.

I like sunny weather.
But ironically, wherever I go, I bring rain… My fans call this “JKS effect”.

Autumn. Because I hate the cold.

My mother’s Kimuchi Jjigae.

Puppy. Especially Suni I raise.

Drama “Hwang Jin-i”. Movie “The Happy Life”.

Laughter (smile). My fans say that it’s beautiful.

The youngest is 5 years old. My fan age-group varies.
Actually I have an 80 year-old fan whose age is similar to my grandmother’s.

I went to school twice a week in the second semester in 2011.

Jang Keun Suk transforms himself into an archer.

In the 2nd episode of Love Rain, which aired on March 27, In Ha (Jang Keun Suk) is portrayed expressing his heart to Yoon Hee (Yoona) through a game of archery.

Enjoying a festival with a group of a circle memners, Hye Jung stops in front of a cupid game. The cupid game is a game for a couple, in which one write down a name of his or her loved one on a sketchbook and shoots an arrow on it. If the one hits the target, it is believed that the couple’s love will go on forever, and they get a doll as a gift. In Ha gets involved in the game by Hye Jung’s urging, who wants to get a doll.

Hye Jung feels joyful at receiving a doll from In Ha, who makes it after two trials. She insists In Ha should present Yoon Hee with a doll as well. However, arrows do not help him with hitting the target easily. As Hye Sung says impatiently, “Try to do it properly,” Yoon Hee, feeling uneasy, tries to stop him, saying “You don’t’ have to. Don’t push yourself.”

Dong Wook, who also has a crush on Yoon Hee, tries to snatch the bow from In Ha, but he insists on doing it. Thereby, after three trials, In Ha finally manages to succeed it, thereby expressing his heart to Yoon Hee covertly. Chang Mo (Seo In Guk), however, notices In Ha’s heart to Yoon Hee and feels tense between Dong Wook and In Ha.

Album of JKS and Bigbrother 'TEAM H’ ranked high on the Oricon chart

Jang Geun Suk‘s unit group ‘TEAM H‘ has secured the #3 spot on the Oricon chart in Japan.

According to leading Japanese music site Oricon Style, TEAM H’s new album ‘Lounge H The First Impression‘ has sold over 30,000 copies the first week, rising to the #3 spot on the Oricon.

TEAM H previoulsy performed at Jang Geun Suk’s arena tour as well as at his Tokyo Dome concert, and piqued fans’ interest at his fan meet that also took place in Tokyo.

Ahead of it’s official March 21st release, ‘Lounge H The First Impression’ was the #1 most pre-sold album at the time, drawing local fans’ interest after being promoted in TV and newspaper ads, club promotions, and more...

Actor Ji Sung visit the filming site of LOVERAIN

Actor Ji Sung’s kind act for his friend and cherished junior, Jang Keun Suk, has been revealed.

On March 29, Ji Sung made a surprise appearance to the set of KBS’ Love Rain in Gyeongi-do’s Gwangju, where he treated out 100 members of the drama’s staff to lunch through a meal truck.

The act was a reciprocating favor of sorts between the two best friends, as Jang had treated Ji Sung’s Protect the Boss staff with chicken in the past.

It was revealed Ji Sung did not even let Jang know he was coming, leading to a visibly surprised Jang.

A production staff member shared, “We were all surprised by Ji Sung’s visit. We were especially grateful Ji Sung would come all the way out to the Gyeongi-do shooting set to treat us out with a meal truck and the resulting warm atmosphere was overflowing.”

Gun-seok indeed! KBS "Love Rain" advertisement sells out in first week

The power of Geun-seok led to sales.

The advertisements for the first and second episodes of Jang Geun-seok's KBS 2TV drama "Love Rain" have been sold out. Interest in the drama can be proven by pre-sale to Japan, follow up on 350 domestic and foreign press as well as advertisement sales.

The first and second episodes of "Love Rain" for a total of 72 minute each can sell 28 advertisements in an episode. The advertisement cost for a KBS 2TV mini series after 10PM is 13.2 million hundred Won. "Love Rain" has made a total of 739.2 million Won (13,200,000 x 28 x 2 episodes ~ US$700,000).

Other than Jang Geun-seok is Yoona from Hallyu leader Girls' Generation. This is also the come back project of Yoon Seok-ho from "Winter Sonata" and "Autumn in my Heart".

The Korea Broadcasting System said, "Advertisement sales has happened the fastest out of all KBS 2TV mini series in the last 6 months. Jang Geun-seok played a big role in this as advertisement agencies pick him as the most favorable model. Girls' Generation was also a big attraction to the agencies as they are one of the most popular girl groups".

"Love Rain" is about the destined love of Seo Joon (Jang Geun-seok) and Kim Yoon-hee (Yoona) that was never completed in the 1970s that leads them to the year 2012 as Seo In-ha and Kim Ha-na.

[News] Asia Prince Jang Keun Suk is nominated for BaekSang Awards 2012

Baek Sang awards is one of the prestigious awards of South Korea awarded to some of the greatest actors and actresses of that year. Jang Keun Suk has been nominated previously and even secured the New Actor award for the film Happy Life in the year 2008 and the 2010 Baeksang Awards, Male Popularity Award for the movie The Case of Itaewon Homicide.

And this year list of nominees have been announced and Asia Prince Jang Keun Suk been selected as a nominee for Male Popularity award for the film You’re My Pet under the film category.

Jang Keun Suk and Yoona has a heart-fluttering encounter on Love Rain

Heart fluttering scene of Jang Keun Suk and Yoona meeting at the library for the first time, will be one of the memorable scenes of Love Rain.

On KBS’s new TV series, Love Rain, the romantic meeting of the leading actors Jang Keun Suk (plays the role of Seo In Ha in the 70s) and Yoona (plays the role of Kim Yoon Hee in the 70s) at the library, will be similar to that of
Romeo and Juliet.

In Ha (played by Jang Keun Suk) who was looking for a book at the library, meets Yoon Hee (played by Yoona)’s eyes by chance through the gap between the books. They looked shy and almost felt as if one can hear their heartbeats. They looked like a couple who has just begun to love.

Yoona revealed her thought about the shooting, “I could feel the sentiment in my heart and it fluttered during the shooting of romantic meet between In Ha and Yoon Hee. It will be one of the most memorable scenes in my life.”

A representative of the production crew revealed, “This scene is back in the 70s where there were no cell phones. In Ha and Yoon Hee’s accidental encounter sprouts their love. I think that their thrilling love story and excitement will empathize with the readers.”

The heart-fluttering encounter between Jang Keun Suk and Yoona will be revealed on the first episode of Love Rain on March 26 at 9:55 p.m.

Jang Keun Suk Says He’s a Different Man Now

Jang Keun Suk recently showed that he’s a changed, mature man.


Through an interview held with the magazine @star1 issued on March 21, Jang Keun Suk said, “What I thought about myself changed a lot after I turned 26.”

Jang Keun Suk became the biggest hallyu star in Japan after his 2009 drama, SBS’ You’re Beautiful, swept through the country. He even sold out all 45,000 seats for his Tokyo Dome concert and filled the Tokyo Dome to the brim with his fans.

In between his big successes, however, he was involved in many controversies and scandals due to many of his outlandish statements. He even had to leave his Twitter account for some time in order to settle himself down.

Jang Keun Suk said, “These days I’m spending most of my time looking back on myself. I love being with people. I like my friends, I like people I run in to and I especially like inviting people to my home to cook them good food and talk together.”

“These days I’m too busy so I don’t get to do it often, but a few years ago I used to personally cook breakfast for my agency’s employees. I’m not a good cook, but I always cooked breakfast for my agency family members as they would have to go to work even after playing around late into the night the night before,” he explained.

He added about his activities in Japan, “It was a vague dream. I put that plan into reality when I turned 20. People who like to talk think that my Japanese ventures just came at the spur of the moment, but it absolutely wasn’t so.”

During the press conference for upcoming drama “Love Rain,” Jang Geun Suk revealed his favorite Girls’ Generation member. Hundreds of fans and reporters flocked to the Lotte Hotel in Seoul to catch a glimpse of the stars of “Love Rain” hours before the event began.

When asked which member in Girls’ Generation he liked the most, Jang Geun Suk replied, “Working with her up close, I’ve discovered a new YoonA – Not just YoonA the performer, but also YoonA the actress. I’m learning a lot from her. I’m very grateful.” He joked, “My favorite Girls’ Generation member is...Yuri, of course,” drawing laughter among the crowd. Upcoming KBS melodrama “Love Rain,” starring Jang Geun Suk and Girls’ Generation’s YoonA, has received tremendous media attention not just in Korea but also internationally. According to a representative from the drama, “Foreign press, along with Korean media outlets, will attend today’s press conference. ‘Love Rain’ unveils new posters of Jang Geun Suk & Yoona

Girls’ Generation member Yoona and actor Jang Geun Suk‘s newest posters are causing quite the stir online.

The poster photo shoot for the new drama series ‘Love Rain‘ recently took place in Seoul, and co-stars Jang Geun Suk and Yoona were present along with Lee Misook, Jung Jin Young, Kim Sihoo, Kim Young Kwang, and more.

Yoona and Jang Geun Suk struck professional poses which showcased their on-screen chemistry. Both of them being strong visuals, the pair looked like the perfect fantasy couple.

During the shoot, Jang Geun Suk tossed aside his charming Seo In Ha character and channeled his inner chic photographer Seo Jun, stealing the hearts of staff members on set with his lethally charismatic gaze.

And Yoona who plays the role of a bubbly Hana in the new series gave the camera a bright youthful smile which fluttered the hearts of male staff members on set.

‘Love Rain’ director Yoon Suk Ho remarked, “The way Jang Geun Suk and Yoona have transformed from their 70′s characters is really surprising.”

For shooting a photobook, he came to Japan and there, he met a girl that he could never predicate, Ha Na.
In his dictionary of fashion there is no way you can find Ha Na, the saucebox. He wouldn’t give in on her by any chance.
When he was looking for sceneries with his lens, he caught a moment of Ha Na. Her innocent face suddenly made him feel that he has a heart attack, his heart was beating like crazy.
Even he couldn’t believe it; and he kept denying it, but from the moment he met Ha Na, his life and his feeling are all become a mess.

Jung Hana, 24 years old studying for Masters degree in gardening.
If you give trees love, they will grow very well. Never thought that the tree in my heart will grow so large/tall that you can’t hide that tree anymore
Yoonhee went to America to study and married an international student studying there and had Hana. Hana studied in Japan at college of Agriculture in gardening major.
Hana believes that there’s a similarity/link between the hearts of humans and that of trees. She would talk/sing to sick plants, surprising many people around her. But if you get to know Hana’s character more, you will be mesmerized by her bright positive persona. She’s a bit too talkative and has a straightforward personality, having the ability to energize others. Something about her smiling all the time
As a city girl, she came to snowy mountain and love the people there. The white garden is a fresh air.
Because Yoonhee was never able to give up her first love, Hana is determined to help her find romance. For her mom she even went to Hokkaido, but she ended up meeting the bad mouth Seo Joon. Seo Joon picks at Hana’s weird clothes and everything she does. Almost like he was born to say mean things. Ever since meeting Seo Joon, Hana’s peaceful life is about to change.

He is Seo Joon’s father, a professor of Korean Art Institute.
32 years ago, he let Yoon Hee leave him. When he was desperate, it was Hye Jung besides him and staying with him.
He and Hye Jun got married. The mirage lasted for 10 years. When Seo Jun 10 years old, Hye Jung asked for a divorce.
He never forget Yoon Hee for a single moment. He can not lie and hide his feeling, even just for a little bit, it will show on his face.
In Ha felt guilty for hurting others because that he can’t get out of his past feeling. So he just wants to have a quiet life.
But, after past his 50s, he and Yoon Hee met again. She is still as the Yoon Hee many years ago, delicate and beautiful just appeared by his side.
This time, even for being selfish, he won’t want to miss her again.
Kim Yoon Hee (2012)

Brief: Played by Lee Mi Sook, Yoon Hee had Ha Na with a Korean student in US, she still loves In Ha and living a life with memory of their love.
Lee Sun Ho

Brief: Played by Kim Shi Hoo. Second male lead in 2012. Son of Lee Doon Wook (In Ha’s friend) and friend of Seo Joon, a doctor, has a warm heart and nice guy compare to mean sharp tongue Seo Joon. He has a younger sister, who is a popular model, has “Princess Symptoms”…

Jang Geun Suk’s Japanese collaboration album, “Lounge H”, hits #1 in pre-orders

Jang Geun Suk was previously revealed to be pulling out all the cards for the promotion of his upcoming collaboration album with Big Brother, “Lounge H the First Impression“.

It seems his efforts in renting out a promotional cafe seemed to hit it off, as the album has ranked #1 in pre-orders even before it’s hit the shelves! The mini-album features a total of 10 tracks that Jang Geun Suk personally picked out concepts for from the music video to the outfits.

The DVD also contains music videos and behind-the-scenes footage that fans won’t want to miss. Japan’s biggest video site, ‘Niconico Live‘, has been airing the title track music video as well as “Gotta Getcha“, footage of his ’2011 Asia Tour Last in Seoul Team H‘ stages, and exclusive interviews.

Jang Keun Suk Becomes a University Student for ′Love Rain′

Photos of Jang Keun Suk’s transformation into a 1970’s university student have been released.

The still cuts, for the upcoming KBS drama Love Rain, reveals Jang in character as In Ha, an art student in the 1970’s. Sporting a slightly long and wavy hair, Jang is dressed in a classic style completing his look with a briefcase. In another he dons a blue apron, speckled with paint while holding his hand over his heart.
Love Rain will premiere on March 26 and also stars Girls’ Generation’s Yoona.

JKS new Endorsement is caffe bene

According to some Korean news, caffe bene decided to renew their contract with Han YeSeul, who lives in U.S. She’s been the ambassador since 2009 and made a success in Korea. Caffe bene is planning to expand their business overseas. So they requested her to take the lead in opening the shop in L.A. They also decided to assign Jang Keun Suk as a new ambassador.

On March 17, a still picture of KBS 2’s new drama series Love Rain (written by Oh Soo Yeon, directed by Yoon Seok Ho) is revealed. Jang Keun Suk and SNSD’s Yoona create a stir as their appearance in the picture evokes a feeling of a watercolor painting.

The first episode of the series is to describe their first romantic encounter. When it showers all of a sudden, the good-looking art student Seo In Ha (played by Jang Keun Suk) offers to share an umbrella with Kim Yoon Hee (played by Yoona), the innocent, goddess-looking girl majoring in home economics, whom he falls in love at first sight. You can see the start of their heart-fluttering love in your living room, and this “umbrella dating” scene is likely to leave a memorable remark in the history of melodramatic TV series.

The rain pours down in the background as if encouraging the couple under the umbrella to narrow the distance between them. Jang is soaked in rain and shows a dimming appearance when Yoona sports a pure image under the yellow umbrella. The scene evokes a feeling that viewers can hear their heartbeat. Director Yoon Seok Ho’s way of applying visual arts is very detailed: he emphasizes on featuring clear colors, and each leaf and raindrop seems to be breathing in the clip, causing viewers to expect a birth of a successful series.

Yoon’s Color production company of the series says, “This beautiful scene is a beginning part of the times in 70s where In Ha and Yoon Hee take a step toward each other. The production crew and all staff members are experiencing their hearts flutter watching this scene. It will be just enough to deliver the faint emotion you are expecting.”

Love Rain is a story of young people living in analogue and digital times, back in the 1970s and 2012. Through the love stories of our parents, we are to understand the true nature of love, friendship, and ambition that never changes even in different generations. The series will broadcast first episode on March 26 as a follow-up series to Dream High 2.

Photos of Girls’ Generation’s Yoona and Jang Keun Suk filming in snowy Japan for the upcoming KBS drama Love Rain have been released.

The pictures were posted originally on an online community board titled, “’Love Rain’ Yoona Snap Snap’.

The pictures were originally taken by a staff member during filming for the drama in Japan’s northern Hokkaido region.

Yoona, Jang and the other staff members are bundled up, thanks to their chilly and snow-blanketed surroundings, but they all seem to be in a good mood, with Yoona even flashing a victory sign with the drama’s director, Yoon Suk Ho.

In particular, netizens have again showered Yoona with praise for her cute looks and cheerful demeanor in the photos saying, “Yoona looks so cute”, “ She looks good with Jang Keun Suk” and “It looks like Yoona is the mood-maker for the filming set”.

Love for director Yoon Suk Ho′s upcoming KBS2 drama Love Rain is already spreading fast among Korean and overseas fans.

Following the characters′ 70s looks, their 2012 looks are pitching the netizens are in a fresh new craze about Jang Keun Suk′s new ′Seo Joon look′, including his hidden ponytail and other small details.

The old-fashioned ′Ha Na look′ that Yoona dons, with her tacky checkered shirt, knit, muffler and jacket, is also building up anticipation for Love Rain.
